Description

This piece of art has been created painstakingly through many processes but I love it. He reminds me of a horse I had when I was 16 in the foothills of Alberta Canada. His name was Ranger and when I first got him I had only ridden horses that had been broken with a bit but Ranger had been broken with a hackamore which takes a different handling style with the reins. In my ignorance, I tried controlling him when he was in a full gallop the way you control a bit trained horse. That action on my part, cut off his air supply and he quickly rolled over on me to get me off his back and that broke my leg. After that, I learned my mistake and learned how to properly control him. He was a marvelous and beautiful Palomino with a mane just like this one. From then on, we had many good times together.
